In a renewed effort to strengthen institutional synergy, the Executive Chairman of the Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB), Dr. Ibrahim A. Liman, alongside members of his Management Team, paid a working visit to the Niger State Teachers’ Professional Development Institute. The visit followed an invitation by the Director-General, Schools and Education Reform, Hajiya Maimuna Mohammed, aimed at showcasing the Directorate’s strides in enhancing Early Child Care Development Education (ECCDE) across the state.
The Executive Chairman and his team were conducted round the institute on a facility tour to inspect ongoing interventions and identify potential areas for strategic collaboration.
In her remarks, Hajiya Maimuna Mohammed expressed appreciation for the Chairman’s visit, describing it as timely and encouraging. She appealed for stronger partnerships to support the newly established Early Child Care Development Education Centre, designed to strengthen foundational learning and early childhood development in line with global best practices.
Responding, Dr. Liman commended the reforms and initiatives being implemented at the institute and reaffirmed his earlier pledge to support programmes that contribute to revitalizing the basic education sub-sector in Niger State. He stressed that the Governor made a well-placed decision in assembling the new leadership team for NSUBEB.
Dr. Liman further called for collective support from all critical stakeholders to enable the Board deliver on its mandate of advancing the New Niger Agenda and achieving quality basic education for all.
