The Executive Chairman is the Chief Executive and Accounting Officer responsible for the day-to-day routine administration of the Board. He is assisted by two Permanent Members and Board Secretary as well as Board Members in which he chair. The Board is answerable to the Executive Governor through the Ministry of Education.

FUNCTIONS

 
The functions of the Executive Chairman include:
 
  • Providing direction to the Board
  • Responsible for general administration of the Board
  • Performing such other duties as may from time to time be assigned him by the Board
  • Responsible to the Board in the performance of his duties 
  • Providing direction to the management and staff of the Board
