Students who will be the future inventors and industrialists of Niger State and Nigeria will be the ones who will benefit the most
from a strategic educational development plan because it will assure excellence in both the tutoring and learning skills in science
and technology. This will be done by making significant financial investments in various educational institutions and programmes.
* We will work to guarantee that everyone obtains an education that is at least on par with the levels that are considered to be minimally acceptable internationally.
We shall pay attention to fields such as teaching, research, information and communication technology (ICT), entrepreneurship,
skills acquisition and development, creative art, and other areas.
* Increased school enrollment at all levels.
* Affordable education for primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions.
* Ongoing possibilities for instructors’ professional growth as well as promotions on an ongoing basis
* Construct model vocational centres in order to expedite the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills as a means to engender and
drive the initiative of self-employment within a formal and structured environment in order to facilitate the growth of small and
medium-sized businesses in the state. This will be done in order to facilitate the growth of small and medium-sized businesses in
the state.
* Recruit qualified instructors for elementary, intermediate, and postsecondary education on the basis of institutions’ individual needs.
* Invest in the modernization of our public schools and the provision of sufficient educational resources to support both
teaching and learning.
* Construct examples of successful vocational centres as a means of accelerating the development of business skills.
* A Scholarship Program Devised Expressly with the Aim of Satisfying the Needs of the State in Terms of Human Resources
About Niger Subeb
Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) is responsible for managing Basic Education in Niger State.
It is also saddled with the responsibility of ensuring all the School aged Children have access to quality
and unfettered
9 years Basic Education Programme through:
i.Programmes and initiative for early childhood education and development.
ii.Facilitating of the formal school system from the beginning of primary education
to the end of
junior secondary school.
Liaison with all relevant agencies towards capturing children with the special needs,
including the nomadic and the almajiri children, for the formal basic education programme.
