Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board are on strategic partnership to remodel and upgrade two basic schools in Niger State to full-fledged smart schools.
The representative of the NCDMB team noted that “the initiative aligns with the Board's commitment to giving back to the communities where our host industries operate and to support the development of human capital in the country.
Two schools were selected in Niger State, Limawa Basic School in Chanchaga Local Government, and one of the following schools in Bida Local Government, Ndayako Basic School or Ibrahim Tako Basic School.
The partnership will see the transformation of Limawa Basic School and either Ndayako Basic School or Ibrahim Tako Basic School into state of the art full fledged smart school equipped with modern facilities and infrastructure to enhance the learning experience of students.
This project is a prove of dedication to promoting sustainable development and community engagement by the partners.
The Executive Chairman of NSUBEB, Mal. Muhammad Baba Ibrahim,
expressed his gratitude for the partnership, noting that "this collaboration will greatly enhance the learning environment and opportunities for students in Niger State, aligning with our commitment to providing inclusive quality education for all."
The remodeling and upgrading of these schools will not only improve the physical infrastructure but also contribute to the overall development of the education sector in Niger State.
A joint team from the Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) conducted an on the spot assessment of Limawa Basic School in Minna and Ndayako Basic School in Bida today.
