The Emir of Agaie, His Royal Highness Alh. Yusuf Nuhu has conferred the traditional title of Maiyaki Agaie on the Executive Chairman of Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB), Mallam Muhammad Baba Ibrahim.
The conferment took place at the Emir's Palace in Agaie, where the Emir described Mallam Baba Ibrahim as a man of honor and integrity.
The Emir stated that the selection process was done in accordance with due process, culture, and tradition of the land, and congratulated the Executive Chairman on his new title.
He charged Mallam Baba Ibrahim to be a good ambassador of the Emirate and to continue to serve the people of Niger State with dignity and honor.
The title of Maiyaki Agaie is a prestigious traditional honor bestowed on individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, service to the community and automatically becomes a King maker in the Emirate council.
Mallam Baba Ibrahim expressed his gratitude to the Emir and the people of Agaie for the honor, and pledged to continue working tirelessly for the development of Agaie Emirate and Basic Education sector in Niger State.
